Questions/Answers

Question asked by Samanta:

How much food did you have to bring on that 100 day trip? What if you run out of food before you get to the finish line? How is it to be on a boat for as long as you are now?

Answer:

We stocked the boat for 120 days of food, in case I have a problem or sail really slowly, and with the uneaten parts of the daily bag, I'll likely have another few weeks of food available.

Regarding being on the boat this long, it's hard to not see family and friends, although I can email and talk on the satphone. Also, if things break or go wrong, I have to be the one to fix them, I can't call in the electrician or plumber.
