Questions/Answers

Question asked by Carolyn:

What are some things you have to keep in mind to survive out there? - Vishwesh

Answer:

Dear Vishwesh,

There is a saying at sea: "One hand for yourself and one for the ship." This is very important, as it means that you are always trying to look out for yourself as well as the ship. I try to keep this in mind always. Being physically fit is essential, and good balance essential as the boat is always moving. Also, you have to do your boat maneuvers very deliberately, and not rush them. In that way, you can minimize your mistakes.

Thanks for the question,

Rich
