What is it like to wake up in the morning in the middle of the ocean? –  Emma

Dear Emma,

When the seas are calm or moderate, it’s great to wake up out in the middle of the ocean. When there is a big storm, it is not so good, because it’s scary. Right now we have big seas, the boat is rolling all over the place, and its uncomfortable. But when you have a nice sunny day, a sharp horizon, and birds are flying around, it’s great to be out here.
