Question asked by pruthvi:

If you were to go to a school after the race what would you tell them?

Answer:

I’d talk about lots of things. I’d talk about the excitement of the voyage, the hard weather, the enjoyable things, the beauty of the sea. But mostly I’d talk about finding out what you and other students love to do, and then encourage  you to do it. The idea behind my sailing in this race was never to win. It was, partly, to show you that you can do whatever it is you set your mind to do, no matter what other people say.
